Regina, I did not see the announcement but read it first thing this am. When I read what she said about being upbeat and hopeful and about the things that she still planned on doing I could not help but hope that she will be lucky enough to reach out to other survivors. I know that other survivors will reach out to her. I hope that she experiences the gifts of support, laughter and friendship that comes with a connection with other breast cancer survivors. We all have family and friends who support us, however, other survivors have so much to give that our family and friends are unable to share, only because the do not experience parts of this journey firsthand, like another survivor. I hope she does avail herself to a survivor community as we have. I hope she finds lifelong friends as I have, you among them. She would be oh so fortunate if she was to contact you to deal with the "suckiness" and experience your support and friendship, as, I and so many others have...You Rock! HUGS! Barbara
