From there, it's catch the shuttle at Port Authority and go on to Bear Mountain. On the way, we pass a very important landmark - Yankee Stadium.

Registration is relatively quiet. I imagine that many people have already come and gone. I am right. I stop to sign a few of these banners; I sign for "Just Us."

At registration on Day Zero, I meet Deborah, a woman who came to the event from New Jersey. She too was alone. We decide to become tent mates.
